Mobile Response Unit Security Officer

Key Responsibilities

As an MSU Officer, your responsibilities will include:

• Operate as part of a mobile response unit, supporting Atlas Security staff and clients.
• Carry out key holding, alarm response, patrols, and locking/unlocking of premises as required.
• Monitor radio communications and respond promptly and professionally to a wide range of security incidents.
• Provide security and door supervision cover when required and assist with client enquiries.
• Support clients in meeting licensing objectives and complying with conditions of their Premises Licence.
• Complete all incident reports and required paperwork accurately and promptly, escalating major incidents to Directors immediately.
• Use tact and diplomacy as the first approach when managing conflict, using only the minimum amount of force required where necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all Company and Client security arrangements and remain informed of any changes.
• Follow appropriate procedures when conducting searches and handling any seized items in line with licensed premises or event policies.
• Develop a good working knowledge of relevant local services and amenities.
• Work in accordance with SIA training, current legislation, and Company policies, processes and procedures.
• Accompany and participate in wage deliveries and cash collections from venues.
• Deputise for Operations Managers when required.
• Fully utilise the Smarttask system to book and confirm shifts, log on and off shifts, request shifts and holidays, and submit incident reports and amendments.
• Comply with any other reasonable requests made by a Director or Senior Manager.
