Disability Confident company

We support Disability Confident, as we know that every person has the ability to make a positive impact for our company and society. We are playing our part in changing behaviour, and we are already benefiting from our inclusive recruitment practices.

As a signatory, we aim to help challenge attitudes and increase understanding of disability; draw from the widest possible pool of talent; secure high-quality staff who are skilled, loyal and hardworking; and improve employee morale and commitment by demonstrating fair treatment.

Proudly supporting those who serve

Atlas has signed the UK Armed Forces Covenant to reflect our steadfast commitment to honouring the sacrifices and dedication of our Armed Forces personnel and their families. We are proud to stand alongside the military community and demonstrate our unwavering support.

Veterans possess a diverse range of skills, experiences and perspectives that can benefit our business. By actively supporting the Covenant, we signal our commitment to recruiting, retaining, and supporting veterans in their transition to civilian employment. If you have been in the Armed Forces, we thank you for your service and encourage you to join Atlas!

Fostering friendly employer

Nearly 40 percent of foster carers combine fostering with other work and a supportive employer can make all the difference, enabling a balance between employment and looking after children. More than 90 organisations across the UK have signed up to the scheme, with Atlas the first FM company to do so.

Backing care leavers

We have signed the Care Leaver Covenant because we want to create an accessible and welcoming environment for care leavers of all ages. We support individuals to broaden their horizons and increase their work opportunities while with Atlas. We commit to supporting their employability and skill building, as they balance their important care duties.

Helping employees who are working with cancer

Atlas has signed the Working with Cancer Pledge. We stand with other companies, healthcare providers and non-profits to provide a more supportive and recovery-forward culture at work for people with cancer.

Chris Wisely, Atlas Group CEO, Atlas group managing director states: "We pledge to treat people as our family. This means supporting each employee who is affected by cancer via a personalised approach. We will help them during their treatment and recovery, whether it is support with mental wellbeing or specific post-treatment requirements. We will be careful and considerate while letting them know that we have their back."

At Atlas, we believe in working towards a more equitable and prosperous society. We are officially a Living Wage recognised service provider through the Living Wage Foundation. We are committed to paying a wage that goes beyond the basic costs of living, ensuring fair compensation for our employees and our improving their workplace happiness.
