Atlas Workplace Services are seeking a Hard Services Lead to join our team in Farnborough.
In this key role, you will take ownership of the operational delivery of all Building and Fabric maintenance across our portfolio of Landlord and Tenanted buildings. You will ensure that the appearance, presentation, and functionality of the buildings meet both client and customer expectations, maintaining the exceptional standards that Atlas is known for.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Health & Safety / Compliance
- Ensure that the Atlas areas of responsibilities are safe and compliant, and also in line with Cody Technology Park company policy.
- This will mainly be achieved through completion of Records, Audit and Site Safety Inspections.
- Ensure compliance with Atlas’s quality assurance systems to the expected standards (ie ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, etc) at all times.
- Maintain accurate and up to date operational site documentation.
- Managing the Building
- Responsibility for ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive reactive and planned preventative maintenance service across all FM products, to ensure a safe, compliant, fit for purpose and fully operational building. This will be achieved by ensuring that the in-house resource and supply chain delivery regime fits the required output.
- Support the budget management process through providing the necessary information regarding property revenues and projected costs and ensuring that commissioned works relating to their designated property are properly authorised and checked and paid within the agreed terms.
Customer Management
- Communicate effectively with all customers in relation to all property issues including internal and external clients. In so doing, act as the focal point for all customer liaison between FM and operational customers within the defined area.
- Customer Satisfaction at all times.
- Create a culture of service excellence based on continuous improvement and productivity.
- Ensure that the delivery of all FM products meet agreed customer needs for core operational requirements and deliver Customer
- Satisfaction levels for Reactive Maintenance within defined area.
- Spot opportunities to grow the business and take relevant actions to secure this additional business, working collaboratively with the Commercial and Business Development teams.
Managing People
- Provide leadership, support and direction to the on-site team.
- Ensure the team consistently deliver expected levels of performance, in particular working with the team to continuously enhance our customers’ experience.
- Work collaboratively with other members of FM operational, technical and compliance teams to deliver a comprehensive and cost-effective area based FM service.
Management of Resources
- Ensure value for money in the delivery of maintenance solutions by rigorously evaluating alternative options and, where appropriate, submit for approval concurrences for all works, ensuring compliance with Atlas quality and environmental policies.
- Supplier Management
- Manage a performance management regime for all suppliers ensuring focus on safety, service delivery, business continuity, value for money and best practice, in line with Atlas standards and expectations.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of the delivery of services including correspondence, meeting minutes, action plans and written notes.
Reporting
