  • About The Role

  • The Role – An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Security Manager to oversee a prestigious security operation at a high-profile  high rise site in the City of London.  

    The Location: Based in London. 

    What we are paying: £62,000.00 per annum

    The Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 18:00, with flexibility required due to the nature of the operation.  

    What You Will Be Doing/Responsible For  

    As the Security Manager, you will oversee all aspects of the security operation, managing a large, diverse team to deliver an effective and efficient physical security provision. Your responsibilities will include:  

    • Leading and mentoring the security team to maintain high standards of discipline, appearance, and service delivery.  

    • Reviewing security operations to identify and implement improvements for the safety and efficiency of the site.  

    • Recruiting, inducting, and training staff while ensuring compliance with vetting procedures and managing team schedules.  

    • Acting as the primary point of contact for the client, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.  

    • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Data Protection and CCTV best practices.  

    • Developing and executing strategies for business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency response, including live drills and tabletop exercises.  

    • Preparing and presenting security updates, incident reports, and recommendations to stakeholders.  

    • Managing access control, evacuation procedures, and the site’s loading bay operations.  

    • Conducting investigations and audits, preparing detailed reports, and ensuring compliance with the site’s service-level agreement.

  • What skills and attributes we need from you!  

    To succeed in this role, you will need:  

    • At least 5 years of experience within a security environment, with 24 months in a leadership role.  

    • Man-management experience and strong influencing skills to inspire and guide your team.  

    • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations (IOSH/NEBOSH desirable).  

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients and team members.  

    • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.  

    • A valid SIA Security Licence 

    • The ability to stay calm under pressure and approach challenges with a solutions-focused mindset.  

    Desirable Attributes: Experience leading large teams, training others, and driving continuous improvement in operations.
