  • The Role – Atlas Security is the UK's newest security company and is on an exciting journey to become the first choice for both discerning customers and ambitious security professionals. We are looking to recruit a Security Operations Manager to lead our Client's site, managing the daily operations with a commitment to excellence in customer service and operational delivery. This multifaceted role involves hands-on management of security operations, customer service interactions, compliance, and team mentorship. Reporting to the Head of Security, you will ensure that our services meet the highest standards while fostering a positive work culture. 

    The Location – Based on-site in London, this role will involve daily interaction with both team members and clients, maintaining close oversight of the security control room and day-to-day security processes. 

    What we are paying£55000 ONO.

    The hours you shall be working50 hours - Monday to Friday, 08:00–18:00, with the flexibility to support the 24/7 needs of our business as required. 

    What you shall be doing/responsible for: 

    • Overseeing site security operations to ensure seamless daily functions, addressing all customer and team needs effectively. 

    • Managing and mentoring a high-performing security team, fostering a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement. 

    • Conducting customer service liaison, handling requests and incidents promptly to maintain positive client relationships. 

    • Implementing site compliance with security protocols, Data Protection Act regulations, and CCTV usage standards. 

    • Managing the site roster, ensuring optimal scheduling for consistent coverage and efficient operation, including team schedules, holidays sicknesses and any non-contractual requirements  
    • Executing site audits and regular checks to maintain high standards and report on security status. 

    • Supporting team development by training shift managers, supervisors, and officers, ensuring adherence to company values and protocols. 

    • Conducting welfare visits and providing first-line support for shift managers, addressing issues or escalating as necessary. 

    • Ensuring emergency readiness by managing access control systems, evacuation procedures, and monitoring potential site risks. 

    • Proactively addressing incidents and security concerns, implementing preventative measures to enhance safety and efficiency.

    We are seeking a driven, customer-focused leader who brings:

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a security environment, including team management and site operations.
    • Strong people management skills and the ability to mentor and motivate a diverse team.
    • Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering a positive experience.
    • Sound knowledge of security protocols and compliance requirements, including CCTV and data protection.
    • Organisational skills with proficiency in managing scheduling and rosters to optimise site coverage.
    • Proactive and solution-focused mindset with the ability to anticipate and resolve security issues.
    • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and a willingness to learn new security management software.
    • Positive and professional demeanour with a high level of confidence and diplomacy.
    • Valid SIA and CCTV licenses are required; IOSH certification is preferred but not essential.
